چکیده

• The study examines the transport of species in streaming blood through a rigid artery presence multi-irregular stenosis. flow is modeled by Casson constitutive equation. A linear surface reaction considered at artery. Asymptotic expressions are developed for velocity and shear stress coefficients. Extensive visualization velocity, concentration, other characteristics included various stenotic scenarios, Péclet numbers, Damköhler number. present article carrier fluid i.e., assumed to be non-Newtonian (Cassons viscoplastic model used) arterial wall rigid. robust hydrodynamic dispersion with first-order chemical on boundary multiple irregular stenosed geometries. Multiple scale solutions non dimensional value problem presented. stress. numbers. Significant modification hemodynamic computed viscoplasticity. Mean concentration also dramatically modified yield relevant disease simulation.

UNSTEADY CONVECTIVE DIFFUSION IN A HERSCHEL–BULKLEY FLUID IN A CONDUIT WITH INTERPHASE MASS TRANSFER

The combined effect of non-Newtonian rheology and irreversible boundary reaction on dispersion in a Herschel-Bulkley fluid through a conduit (pipe/channel) is studied by using generalized dispersion model. The study explains the development of dispersive transport following the injection of a tracer in terms of three effective transport coefficients namely exchange, convective and dispersion co...

A Computational study of Bingham plastic flow of Blood through an artery by multiple stenoses and post dilatation

The present paper deals with fully developed one dimensional Bingham plastic flow of blood through a small artery having multiple stenoses and post-stenotic dilatation. We have determined the resistanceto flow -ratio for yield stresses 0, .02, .04 n/m, blood viscosities 0.00345, 0.004, 0.00455 Pa.s and fluxes 1, 10, 100. The resistanceto flow moves nearer to unity as yield stress increases and ...

Unsteady Heat and Mass Transfer Near the Stagnation-point on a Vertical Permeable Surface: a Comprehensive Report of Dual Solutions

In this paper, the problem of unsteady mixed convection boundary layer flow of a viscous incompressible fluid near the stagnation-point on a vertical permeable plate with both cases of prescribed wall temperature and prescribed wall heat flux is investigated numerically. Here, both assisting and opposing buoyancy forces are considered and studied. The non-linear coupled partial differential equ...

Unsteady Water Boundary Layer Flow with Non-Uniform Mass Transfer

In the present analysis an unsteady laminar forced convection water boundary layer flow is considered. The fluid properties such as viscosity and Prandtl number are taken as variables such that those are inversely proportional to temperature. By using quasi-linearization technique the nonlinear coupled partial differential equations are linearized and the numerical solutions are obtained by usi...
